So tonight's episode is about the 50th episode of TGS. I don't know how I feel about this - if this is the 53rd episode of 30 Rock, and in theory, every episode involved an episode of TGS being produced, and TGS was being produced before 30 Rock began...

You know what, I love the show anyway.

I thought that TGS was on in production before Jack showed up in charge of things.  He made them hire Tracy and change what the show was.

I did consider it was the 50th "TGS with Tracey Jordan" but lets see how they explain it.

I really love this show. Kenneth's framed photo of The Golden Girls had me laughing. And any episode with a reference to one of Jenna's past roles is great in my book.

The way Tracey reads his lines always amuses me. Simple lines like, "I admonished him for that just today!", "Neither Kenneth nor his bird would allow me access to the bedroom", and "If ever had any doubt, which I don't think I did..." always come off funnier just by his delivery.

"There will be no more of your wild Coke parties"
"If by Coke parties you mean the soda..."
"I do, these budget cuts are going to be tough"
(or something along those lines)

Did Kenneth say he had the parrot for sixty years?

Certain parrots can live a very long time. The life span of Macaws alone can last from 50 to around 80 years.

Of course how Kenneth, a guy who's probably in his 20s, claims to have had it for 60 is strange.

The latter would be what I was pointing out. Perhaps the combined age of Cranston and Kenneth is 60. Perhaps he said "sixteen". Perhaps there is no true answer.

Oh, and I guess it goes without saying (yet I'll say so anyway) that I thought the SNME reference was great. I also enjoyed how Economic Hardship Frank wears a hat with no text on it.

The Pelican Brief runner was funny too.

One word line of the night: Jack's droll reply of "Adversely" when asked by Jenna how the movie not getting a release would affect her Oscar chances. I understand her character isn't too popular with a lot of 30 Rock fans, but I think the entire Janice Joplin biopic storyline has worked out well because it's been bizarre enough to be almost believable (within the movie industry).

I can't believe people don't like Jenna's character. It's seriously one of my favourites in all of television. And The Rurual Juror is my favourite of all the 30 Rock episodes.

I'll watch this again later today, if nothing else but to remember what Jimi Hendrix was called. (Jimmy Henderson?)

Yeah, that was awesome. However, it couldn't win "DrVenkman's 30 Rock Facebook Quote of the Week" due to it not being a quote, so I used "my mouth shuts up faster than a girl in math class" instead.

Liz is a racist as I'm alleged to be! "It's not product placement, I just like it".

Apparently Kenneth said "my real name is Dick Whitman" the 1st time he strawberried up.  I missed it (couldn't make it out), but knowing about it makes me laugh.

I was expecting Brian Williams to complain that people were always calling him and looking for Tracy Jordan, so I thought it was funny that he uses it to pull poon all the time. Provided they know how to get to Connecticut.

That's no fun, so let's see what our friends at Free Translation have to say:

The Black Widow is Elisa Padriera and she is known by to have killed her husband.  She is a very jealous woman.  Not crossing she.  Do not do its anger.  Do not look at another woman.  Do not you speak about another woman.  Cunado in the presence of The Black Widow is better to pretend do not they exist in another woman Land.  The Black Widow is very pretty and that is what he does that his so dangerous one.  When he be a matter of the Black Widow he is better smile, the smile, but not too much or too much little.  Do not touch unless she gives him permission.  Do not it take anything of her without its permission.  Itself it be not forgot of its love with all your corazon all the time or but.

This causes me to arrive at a theory that goldengreek actually types most of his posts in another language and uses this website to make them English.

Everytime Liz does something racist or is accused of being racist, I think it's funny. Is this why people think I'm racist? Because it's funny?

I enjoyed the concept of Tracey possibly being 60 as well as Liz relating information about her Sims family to Jack.

Whoever wrote that Sims joke is clearly familiar with the game. If you neglect them, they will piss all over themselves. I had a Sim that died in a puddle of her own urine once.

I also liked "It Takes Two" being an age determinant.

They managed to squeeze in 2 video game jokes in that segment.  The aforementioned Sims joke, as well as a Donkey Kong joke - Liz wanting Jack to go Italian, such as breaking barrels with a hammer.

The first Jack/Tracy conversation was classic!

Tracy: Come in Jack, I'm just practicing sitting.

Jack: That's easy for you to say.
Tracy: No it wasn't, I struggled through that sentence.

Tracy: "I feel like you're not telling me something, Jack. Lemme guess. You bought a sidecar for your motorcycle and your dog won't stay in it."

Tracy: "My love child tracked me down. I was scared, shocked, angry. Like a dog in a sidecar when it comes loose from the motorcycle."
