Everyone loves the Simpsons so I'll post all Simpsons thoughts here.

I love the Dr. Nick appearance last episode.

You tried your best, and you failed miserably. The lesson is, never try.

With that out of the way, I know it's popular to bash The Simpsons, but it seems that with the ends of Futurama and production on The Simpsons Movie have allowed some of the key players to focus on the show. This season is probably the best of the decade by default.

We've gone from three Simpsons references for folder subtitles to two. Not good enough!

Let's think of other Simpsons references for board subtitles

Music: "Baby on board..something something..Burt Ward! Hey, this writes itself!"

Food: "I would like a single plum, floating in perfume, served in a man's hat" "Here you go!"

Tirts- "How about groin-grabbingly good?"

Current Events- "I hear those clowns in Washington have done it again. What a bunch of clowns." "Wow, how does it keep up with the news like that?"

TiRTS: "You said if I slept with you I'd win the contest!" "Duffman says a lot of things!"

Sports is pretty obvious: "Shave those sideburns, Mattingly!"

Personally, I would have gone with the Foxy Boxing quote.

Homer: What on Earth are you doing?
Lisa: Practicing tennis.
Homer: *That's* tennis? Oh, then what's the one where the chicks wail on each other?
Bart: Foxy boxing?
Homer: Yes! That's what I wanted. [anguished moan]

For the board as a whole, altered accordingly:

Vitamin X: "How many of you posters would like a forum to discuss real world problems, like the ones you face every day?"
Posters: "Oh, yeah!  I would!  Great idea!  Yeah, that's it!"
Vitamin X: "And who would like a forum for just the opposite, getting into far-out discussions involving gimmick accounts and e-feds?"
Posters: "Me!  Yeah!  Oh, cool!  Yeah, that's what I want!"
Vitamin X: "So, you want a realistic, down-to-earth forum... that's completely off-the-wall and swarming with gimmick accounts?"
Posters: "That's right.  Oh yeah, good."
Alfdogg: "Also, you should win things by posting."

Okay, I've come up with a novel, unique idea where-in we choose our favourite Simpsons episodes an... okay, fuck it, it's the least unique idea anyone's ever had. But we haven't done it at The Real TSM yet so let's get it out of the way. Once we've had a few replies I'll come up with something a bit more negative to even it out.

Favourite Simpsons Episode:

Favourite Episode as of 10 years ago: As in, what was your favourite episode when you were tennish years younger, assuming it's changed.

Favourite Episode Season 12-onwards:

Favourite Guilty Pleasure Episode:

Favourite Halloween/Three Part Episode Story:

Favourite Simpsons Episode: Rosebud. I don't know why, but the part with Smithers and Burns' sitcom cracks me up every single time.

Favourite Episode as of 10 years ago: A Star Is Burns. This was before I'd ever heard of The Critic, or Charles Bronson and I don't even know why the Death Wish 9 part made us all laugh as kids, but it did. That and it had football in the groin.

Favourite Episode Season 12-onwards: A Tale Of Two Springfields. Even the stupid badger gag, "what am I, a tailor?"

Favourite Guilty Pleasure Episode: Saddlesore Galactica. The evil jockeys stuff was stupid, granted, but even with that I like it.

Favourite Halloween/Three Part Episode Story: The Thing And I, Treehouse Of Horror VII

Favourite Simpsons Episode: Homie The Clown with The City of New York Vs Homer Simpson being a close second. Weirdly enough, I thook those in reverse order for my first two picks in The Simpsons Episode Draft at TOTSM.

Favourite Episode as of 10 years ago: Homer's Phobia. Was a favorite of The Kamala family. We were doubled over for a good five minutes during the gay steel mill scene. I'd still put it in my Top Five.

Favourite Episode Season 12-onwards: Oh boy, Season 12 is when I stopped being a devoted fan. Although I still watched fairly regularly for a few more years and the episodes I've seen since The Simpsons Movie are the best in years IMHO though obviously nowhere near the Seasons 3 through 8 (arguably 9) glory. I'm going to go with "New Kids on The Blech", which I always thought had a few really good gags.

Favourite Guilty Pleasure Episode: "E-I-E-I-(Annoyed Grunt)" I think that counts. Again, I'd probably consider this a Top Five Favorite ten years ago and I still enjoy it now. I was surprised find that most people on the 'net really don't like this one.

Favourite Halloween/Three Part Episode Story: "Dial Z For Zombies", Treehouse of Horror III
