I doubt many TSMers hang out in Walgreens.

The one in my neighborhood was my oh-shit-Publix-is-closed-I-need-this destination until a 7-Eleven opened a couple blocks from my house.

I got Walgreens. Maybe once a week, once every other week. It's mediocre as hell (and has the worst snack and beer selection of any convenience/drug store in the area) but somehow the Rite Aid down the street manages to be 100x worse. The staff there is unbelievably incompetent/slow (IE old) and simply by not actively sucking, Walgreen's is the drug store of choice for me.

Fake Edit: Wait, I was the one who started this Walgreen's discussion. Nevermind.

To continue my Wild Pegasus' Astro Boy threadesque rants about the weird, limited edition flavors of Polar Seltzer at Walgreen's in Northern New England. They got a limited edition Toasted Coconut Creme flavored seltzer that's fantastic. Joins Orange Vanilla and Black Cherry up in the pantheon of my favorite Polar Seltzer Flavors.

Polar Seltzer's Blueberry Lemonade flavor is awesome. Too bad it's a "summer seasonal" flavor. Probably gonna stock pile it next time I go to the grocery store.

I've driven by the Polar Seltzer factory in WOOSTAH, Mass and they have a giant inflatable version of the Polar Seltzer bear hanging on the roof. As good reason as any to hold the TSMer Northeast Meetup at the Worcester Centrum's Convention Center.

Last time I was in Worcester, I had a harrowing 45 minute ride on a Worcester City Bus.

Worcester is like a bunch of shitty New England cities except it's ten times bigger.

Actually, Springfield might be worse but at least, that's got the Basketball Hall of Fame going for it.

last time I was in Springfield it was kinda depressing.  But the world hasn't been kind to any of these post-industrial USA towns for the most part

They do have the Basketball HOF tho, which is def worth visiting once in your life for any basketball fan.  I actually haven't been since the renovation unfortunately, but I went a half dozen times as a kid and it was educational and cool and fueled my love for the game

When I stopped (occasionally) drinking cola I replaced it with Rubicon and it's probably just as bad for me but I ride for this ish.

You take hot water, you put fucking leaves in it, boom, green tea. How the fuck do you make that diet? What, did they hand-select the skinny leaves?

Well, it's sweetened with Splenda/sucralose (which is not exactly great for you, but that's another story) so I guess there is a version with regular or refined sugar added to it, which would increase the calorie count, making it non-diet.
You should probably put your bandit hat on now.

Yeah that's not what most people would call 'tea'.

Sweet tea is a Southern US specialty. I'm talking tea that was brewed sweetened, not already-made stuff that had sugar added to it after the fact.

I'm not much of a tea drinker, but I know it's an irritant for some people when they're travelling in other parts of the country and the version of sweet tea they serve is basically some imitation shit.

Winter '14-'15 Seasonal Flavors are here. For the first time, all of them are, at the very least, good. I have a much higher tolerance of fake coconut flavor than most though.

Blackberry Bergamot is the shocking winner of the bunch. Surprised how much I liked that. Ginger Apple and Champagne Strawberry are a close #2 and #3.

Apparently Rubicon is unknown outside of the United Kingdom. I wondered why my post hadn't received the air horn treatment.

I usually go for a big cup of piping hot earl grey tea at the cubicle every morning at work.  Sprinkle in just a bit of sugar to bring the flavors out.

Hey Roy.

I just bought five different kinds of Polar Seltzer the other day! None of the seasonals though cause they don't come in cans.

Polar Seltzer-Ades are my drink of choice these days. Particularly the mango one and the Watermelon one. Yum yum!

I usually opt for the Trader Joe's brand seltzer even though they don't have many flavors. It's pretty good.
