Who is the GM of the Chargers? He needs fired too. Is it still A.J Smith?

Wow... OC Chris Palmer got axed from the Tennessee Titans (19th in scoring, CJ on the cusp of 1K yards anyway).  QB Coach Dowell Loggains has been promoted to OC.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/11/28/report-gruden-to-get-browns-ownership-stake-in-offer-to-coach-vols/

Quote
WREG-TV in Memphis, Tenn. reported Tuesday night that the ESPN NFL analyst has an offer on the table to become the next head coach of the University of Tennessee with an interesting twist. According to the report, Gruden would be getting an ownership stake in the Cleveland Browns as part of the deal and a decision could be made as early as Wednesday.

New Browns owner Jimmy Haslam attended Tennessee and is a booster of the program. His father, Jim, played on the offensive line for the Volunteers in the early 1950s, including the 1951 National Championship team.

If Northern Illinois does get a BCS bid they'll be doing it without a coach, Dave Doeren takes the N.C. State job.

Hearing Cards front office has had internal conversations regarding Ray Horton. Tune into XTRA 910 for the latest.

Could be firing of Whisenhunt and promotion of Horton to interim HC. Been very impressed with how Horton has transformed the Cardinals defense.

Any truth to the rumor that Tennessee has interviewed Mike Gundy and that Arkansas is also seriously going after him?
For me it'd be great to see him move on from this state as he's the best thing to ever happen to OSU. Plus, it'd be great to see all the OSU fans, who think too highly of OSU because they won one damn BCS Bowl, get butthurt because Gundy left his "New York Yankees" job.
I watched RAW. I thought it sucked. The usual problems and such.

I don't see Gruden going back to coaching unless ESPN fires him.  He's got a much cushier gig right now.

Here's a legitimate shocker: Bret Bielema is leaving Wisconsin for the Arkansas job. Don't think anyone saw that coming.

And things are going to start coming fast and furious: Gus Malzahn is heading back to Auburn for the head coaching job.

Three straight Rose Bowls, what else did Bielema have to prove @ Wisconsin? Besides, y'know, actually winning a Rose Bowl.

That's true, but what he's going to have to prove at Arkansas now is that he can win the Outback Bowl. Plus his job at Wisconsin was pretty much sealed for life. Kinda dumb.

Boston College hires Temple HC Steve Addazio to same position.

Purdue hires Kent State HC Darrell Hazell to same position. First black coach hired in Big Ten since Bobby Williams at Michigan State in 1999.

I wonder if Bylema will continue his strategy of calling a timeout because the crowd suddenly got really loud.

http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2012/12/04/report-jon-gruden-talking-to-the-raiders-about-a-return/

I'm not sure why he would want to go there.  Oakland is about the worst spot in the league.  If Gruden wants to come back he'd be better off holding out for a better job, like the HC of Philadelphia or something like that.

He only goes to the Raiders if he gets to the be the white knight leading the black hole back to LA. I can think of a lot of coaches that would want that job in such a scenario.

Chris Petersen is leading candidate for the Wisconsin job, Barry Alvarez will coach the Badgers in the Rose Bowl. Neat!

Sonny Dykes likely to be named as new Cal HC.

Charlie Strong turns down Tennessee's offer of their head coaching job.

So did Gundy apparently. Dammit, I was really hoping to get rid of him.
I watched RAW. I thought it sucked. The usual problems and such.

Shows up to the interview wearing an orange polo and white pants. Can't possibly be the same guy!
