If we had a worst of thread, Taylor Swifts awful cover of this classic would be there.

Unless it's the cover by 21 and 24.

I think the Phil Spector Christmas album might be the best album ever, period.

Making a top 5 of Christmas songs for me is hard, as really outside of the top 2 the rest could change as there's so many I like.

1. All I want for Christmas is you - Mariah Carey
2. Let it Snow - Vaughn Monroe
3. Rocking Around the Christmas Tree - Brenda Lee
4. What Christmas Means to Me - Stevie Wonder
5. No place like home for the holidays - Perry Como (the slightly quicker version)
I want Jimmy Fallon to be dead. That doesn't make me a bad person.

The Paul McCartney song is awful.  I would listen to Lennon's song 100 out of 100 times if given the choice between it and Paul's song.

The John Lennon song is awful. Painful awful. Like, I'd have shot him too if I had the chance awful. The Paul McCartney song is just pop dreck, and it at least SOUNDS like Christmas, so I'm fine with it.

"Happy Xmas (War Is Over)" can't even compete with Julian Lennon, much less Paul McCartney.

"Simply Having a Wonderful Christmas Time" is the worst Christmas song ever, though "Merry Xmas (War is Over)" is pretty fucking bad too.

That would be the best thing ever if it want jimmy Fallon. I just can not stand to look at the guy. Remove him with video editing technology though and I'd love it.

The instrumental version of this song packs some subtle melancholy:

All the best Christmas jams were on this Jewish guy's album.

Since the link is dead, I'm going to assume Alfie was talking about Kenny G's 1994 release Miracles: The Holiday Album.
