Demos and Acoustic Versions
« on: June 22, 2009, 05:30:07 PM »
I'm a big fan of early demos of songs I like, and acoustic versions and other stuff like that, and I figured most other people liked this kind of thing to. So I thought maybe we could exchange and link to cool demos. This is one I like a lot, it's Boy's Don't Cry.

I've always loved live acoustic versions of songs, especially thanks to the Blues solo performances from the 20's-50's, so I'll be a sucker for this thread. There's just an innate level of intimacy and raw, realism that goes with an acoustic performance.

Cranberries - Linger from MTV's Most Wanted

Meredith Brooks - Bitch from 1997's Satellite Backhaul Pre-Show

Blind Melon - No Rain from 1993's MTV's Most Wanted UK

Speaking of hits being done acoustically plus a few interesting early Demo variations of well known songs.

Foster the People - Pumped Up Kicks on My103.9 Session

Eminem - Lose Yourself Demo

Korn - Blind Demo

Andrew W.K. - Party Hard Demo
