One of the coolest features of Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is the job system. Jobs have specific actions and abilities aimed at supporting specific roles in a group or duty setting. Since I had stuck with the Archer class for my main character, the first job I would naturally look at unlocking was that of the Bard. Bards specialize in buffing their group members (or debuffing enemies) with songs and other enchantments, so they can be very vital in a support/controller type role when running dungeons. The prerequisites for this quest line are to be an Archer at Level 30, and a Pugilist at Level 15.
