If he hadn't gone down there then it would be tweets about how America should annex Canada and all kinds of stuff like that. There's really no way for any Canadian leader to come out looking good from dealing with Trump because Canada is in a terrible position. We are dependent on America for a lot and while we have leverage on some things if we push too hard with it America can push back far harder. We are in no shape to get into a dick measuring contest right now.
The best thing Canada can probably hope for is Trump decides we're doing what he wants and gets bored and goes and fucks with someone else. TBH we do need to do some of the things he wants. We are not doing anywhere near enough about the fentanyl epidemic.

It's not something that should be seriously discussed but hypothetically, literally nobody would come to Canada's defense. If our government wanted to seize Canada unfortunately they probably would. The actuality is that he wants Justin gone and is going to keep talking bullshit until he is.

I do like that Trump's completely turned on some of the people he hired to key positions in his 1st term and are throwing them under the bus to install people he likes now (when they probably believed Trump cared/favored them highly before).
