- Packers restructured S Xavier McKinney’s contract.
- Falcons released WR Darnell Mooney.
- Steelers released TE Jonnu Smith.

Bears are releasing former Pro-Bowl LB Tremaine Edmunds, per sources. Edmunds has been a full-time starter in each of his eight NFL seasons, and he now will become a free agent with 900 tackles on his resume.

Damn. Harlan was so important to everything Green Bay has done since the early 1990s. He and the people he hired brought the mini dynasty of the 90s. The blueprint has been followed heavily by Thompson, Murphy, etc.

Before Harlan, Green Bay were one of the worst, maybe the worst, team for about 20 years.

ESPN sources: the Raiders are releasing last season’s starting quarterback Geno Smith, barring a trade before the start of the new league year. By releasing Smith, the Raiders will open up $8M in salary cap space while taking on $18.5M in dead money.

ESPN sources: the Raiders agreed to trade five-time Pro-Bowl DE Maxx Crosby to the Baltimore Ravens in exchange for 2026 and 2027 first-round picks.
