WWE in 2026

I really am hoping for AEW to sign Kairi. And MCMG to a lesser extent, but with Toni out the AEW women's division needs some juice, and Kairi is perfect for that role.

I really have no interest in Black back in AEW at this point. He seems way more broken down than he was in 2019/20, refuses to job, and I would hate if they made Brody King his lacky again after how over Brodys gotten the last year. I think he ends up in MLW tbh.

Black in MLW just as they're about to launch Fusion as a weekly show again wouldn't be the worst thing. Riddle and Kross have done some solid work there.

Black being so shitty toward AEW near the end lessens my sympathy here. At this point I think Tony needs to resist the urge and not bring him back. TK needs to show you can't walk all over him and then come right back.

Not just Black. If Rusev or Regal got cut I would say the same.

I think Black is just done because of his body. But, if he has anything left let him go be "the guy" in TNA.

It is worth noting that we are over 90 days out from All In. So any of these releases could debut either right before and have a big match or debut at the show.

Of the list so far the only name that would have some buzz would be Kairi.

Black has no value on a national level in the US. Ship has sailed. I still like him but better people can be in any spot he's right for on paper. TNA is the absolute highest and honestly it wouldn't shock me at all if he’s going there with his wife.

If AEW doesn't bring Kairi in, they're morons. Never has such a good worker been so needed and somehow available at the right time. Hell this is the perfect time to finally bring Kai in too, for that matter.

The Wyatt skinwalkers are perfect for TNA. Relive the Hardy feud or some shit. Go nuts.

MCMG are the most interesting option to me since they fit beautifully anywhere. AEW is the best option and I think where they have the highest value, but even then I wouldn't be too shocked if they just wound down their careers on the indies, especially Shelley who can go back to chiropracting or whatever it was.

Yeah no way Aleister Black goes back to AEW. Max Caster had an Instagram story that said "We don't want him" and it was reposted by MJF. Shawn Dean (Who was backstage when Malakai Black was in AEW and is the talent coordinator now) also tweeted disapproval at bringing him back. Sounds like him refusing to job and carrying himself much bigger than he actually was pissed off a ton of people.

I see people saying "But, Andrade" yet Andrade did business in the 2024 CC and left on good terms. Black burned that bridge just like Rusev did when he inevitably gets cut soon. That said, one person that I think Tony would bring back if she ends up flopping on the main roster and gets cut in a few years is Mariah May. She put Toni Storm over in probably the best women's match in AEW history and did the proper business. And she's way younger than Rusev or Aleister, and there's money in her and Toni interacting again years down the line.

Kairi being let go makes zero sense. There was a nine-month program with her, Iyo and Asuka that looked like it was still going, and they just let her go like that. LOL at Alister Black though.

Kairi and MCMG will get picked up. For the rest, AEW isn’t a place that exists just so everyone’s favorites have a backup plan.

I could see them possibly going after Kay Lee Ray (Or Alba Fyre as she was known in WWE) in addition to Kairi/MCMG. But, the rest no chance. I thought maybe Santos Escobar, but damn the dude already turns 42 years old in a few days. I know the MCMG are older, but they fit a different role than him and have many dream matches they could have in AEW.

It's a shame because I actually like Black and his character work. If he could get his shit together and actually be a part of the team instead of his own ego, I'd love to see him back. Otherwise, what Max said.

I think there's some value in the women that aren't Zelina (who I'm fine with but Black is a deal breaker in this case). I like Nikki but don't see her signing at all, and she's really not needed.

I'd even be fine bringing him back as a one off to feud with and put over Brody King. But, he would have to check his ego. From the little I've seen of his WWE return, he did look pretty hampered by the back problems. He's the not the Aleister Black of NXT in the ring anymore nor can he go like when he was Tommy End on the Indies.
