Well guys, here are again. 21 years ago today, the unthinkable happened. Four hijacked airplanes that were commandeered by terrorists crashed into both towers of the World Trade Center in Manhattan in New York City. Another hijacked plane crashed into the Pentagon in Washington D.C. Then, another plane crashed into an open field in Shanksville, PA, which is 80 miles southeast of Pittsburgh. Thousands of innocent lives were taken away from them and many of their families and loved ones had their worlds been shattered. Especially, all the innocent children who lost either one or BOTH of their parents.
I'm pretty sure that the world is focused on the final journey of the late Queen Elizabeth II, we'll be turning our focus to honoring the innocent lives that were lost in the terrorist attacks, 21 years ago today.
