Sparked by Kamala's thread and the fact that I was 4 years old by 1989 I decided to make this thread as the core of my childhood (5-14) was spent in the 1990's.

The first real video I remember resonating with me was R.E.M.'s "Everybody Hurts". It was mainly the sight of seeing a group of people walking away from their cars in the middle of a highway.

OK---the first video I post won't really differ that much from the '80s thread but it's the first video I distinctly remember watching.

Michael Jackson - Remember The Time

This was back in the day when Michael Jackson videos premiered simultaneously on multiple networks. IIRC, this came on right before or after The Simpsons on FOX. For years afterwards, I remember being disappointed that 99.9% of the videos on MTV weren't as elaborate and star studded as this one. Got to love Magic Johnson acting at the beginning. Eddie Murphy is a pretty good comic villain. I don't know why he hasn't done that before or since. Hey I never noticed that Zeus was in this as one of Eddie's goons.
