Yeah, it feels like the finish of the main event will involve Yuta and/or Jay White screwing over Copeland. Only mystery for me is whether it’s for Moxley to retain or Christian to cash in.

I’m still hyped for this show though. Great card. Much better job pacing out the stories to build to the PPV this cycle too rather than the classic TK “oh shit, we have a PPV in 4 days, we should probably announce the other 6 matches on the card.”

If Toni/Mariah isn't the main event over Mox/Edge, they're nuts. Send people home happy.

The only advantage of Day Light Savings is this basically starts an hour early. Just grabbed the Triller TV double pack of this and Dynasty for 34.99, it’s wild that it’s 49.99 in the states.

AEW's use of the Costco guys has been fantastic. Putting them on the pre-shows and using their "celebrity" to drum up interest right before the PPV and having them cut quick promos on TV. No dominating any programs or taking spots away from other competitors.

Going in, I was fine with Moxley-Copeland closing the show. But for THAT finish on a night with all those incredible matches? Fuck that. Copeland gets attacked by Yuta, accidentally wiped out by Jay White, and they still have to have someone else get shoehorned in mid-match to take the loss? Come on, man.

I’m glad the Not Money in the Bank contract is done, but otherwise, what a stupid way to end an otherwise great PPV. In hindsight, the women’s world title match really should have gone on last.

I really enjoyed everything other than the main event.

I get they're two of the biggest names in the company (with Jericho) but man, Cope and Mox just suck now. Copeland should just do the run with Christian and then retire. Mox needs to go away for like 6 months and comeback with something totally different.

Amazing ppv, terrible main event that was partly saved by the ending with Swerve. They need to get the belt off Mox to Swerve.

I don't think Mox doesn't give a shit but I think he's wildly inconsistent. He had a really fun match with Hobbs and he shows up in a lot of the multi-man matches they do but then he'll kind of just vanish in other things. I'm wondering if he's struggling with the pressure of being champion, the angle failing so badly, and being sober but that's just a guess.

This was a top 5 (maybe even top 3) AEW PPV before the main event. The show ending with Swerve standing tall and the crowd going wild for him redeems it a bit but yeah, ending the show with that crap was not wise.

Ending with Swerve almost felt like an audible, but it doesn't matter. Swerve is more ready now than he was the first time, and they need him.

Swerve and Omega are so much more over than everyone else that it's stupid for the title to be on anyone else. The pop when Omega won last night was so sustained and so loud I couldn't even hear the ring announcer announce that he was the new champion.
