Arcane: League of Legends

Season 2's gotten a lot of hype and the show's topping the Netflix charts. Started it up and already 2 episodes shy of finishing out Season 1. As somebody with 0 knowledge of the game, this is great stuff visually with several interesting, good plots about classism tying into magical orb things and I'm a sucker for family drama (Powder aka Jinx is my favorite no surprise).

Rolling deeper into Season 2

- The artwork is fucking gorgeous especially if you're into the "paint" style animation.
- Jinx totally gives me 90s off-kilter Lori Petty vibes if she were an animated, psychotic character.
- Re-watched some of Season 1 and there is a ton of great foreshadowing early on that gets paid off later in S1 and now in S2
- Loving the under-city vs. topside plot and the clashing story lines on both sides. It's a credit to the strong writing of the characters that I don't think there's a bad character or story line that bores me.

Final episodes dropped today. Fantastic series. Chills, goosebumps, all the feels. I can easily see spin-offs/continuations through the 'brand' if the success of this is anything to go by.
