Have gotten into a T.A.T.U. kick as of late after being aware of All the Things She Said. It's interesting to dive into their catalog as their Russian work sometimes has different mixes/sounds far more natural (Kosmos is a great example vs. the English Cosmos version IMO) and their earlier sound tended towards more trance/Euro pop including Not Gonna Get Us sounding like a Prodigy reject circa 1997's "The Fat of the Land" album.

I'd rank the albums as: 200 KM/H in the Wrong Lane (1st Album), Happy Smiles (3rd - Russian Version of WM), Dvesti Po Vstrechnoi (1st - Russian Version), Waste Management (3rd), Lyudi Invalidy (2nd - Russian Version), and Dangerous & Moving (2nd Album).

The Best is a decent comp but missing a lot of the great Russian Versions in favoring remixes.

Feel free to expand on the bands/songs by the way. I'd prefer this to be a little deeper than just yet another Youtube thread dump.

Manowar has been a recent discovery. After writing them off for years due to how incredibly cheesy they were, I've taken to enjoying how great their songwriting actually was. It also works as great background music for nerdfests.

I've been on a little bit of a synthwave kick ever since Turbo Kid in February. The soundtrack by Le Matos is wonderful, and that's led me to the NewRetroWave YouTube account that's brought me to LeBrock, Crockett, Timecop1983, and more.

This sounds awesome, especially after reading up on what Synthwave actually is: 2000's era going retro to recreate 1980s/1990s New Wave/Soundtrack style music. Bonus to seeing Tangerine Dream cited as an influence as I've greatly enjoyed their albums especially 1973's Atem and 1974's Phaedra.

One artist I've been pimping for about 6 months is VHS Glitch. He has a similar sound and is damn great.

And how can we forget Perturbator?
Oh man, Perturbator is great.

One band I recently found myself getting into is Oathbreaker. Solid mix of Crust Punk and Neurosis/Isis style Sludge Metal with a pinch of Black Metal.
