Sort of glad Rocksteady is not on this, so they can potentially be working on something else for next-gen. Though that also means I have less hope for Arkham Origins. And I already thought Arkham City was overall a step down from Arkham Asylum.

I really do like that they are aiming to make it a part of actual Batman mythos. It probably won't, but it should help them keep focus on the objective. Could make this one hell of a game, if everything they are doing works well.

Nope. Trying to get a "younger" sounding Bruce Wayne. I can sorta agree if he's supposed to only be in the cowl for 2 years. Though only if Will Friedle plays him. Otherwise, it'll likely suck.

Just caught the teaser. Deathstroke is one of my all time favorite characters, so I'm sold on that already.

I vaguely remember a mini Deathstroke/Batman arc from the 90's. Gonna have to dig through my boxes to find them (if I'm remembering it correctly). Glad he's had somewhat of a resurgence lately.

I hate that every time we see him, he looks less and less like Deathstroke...

But he's always been one of my favorites as well. So cool deal.

How so? The colours are pretty much the same.. He just looks less cartoony.

Conway does an awesome young Bruce voice, though.
I know he does. But he was supposedly not doing the game. Now he is. Which means this game will likely be a flash back so we'll hear "new Bats" and "old Bats".

And I actually like the new Deathstroke look. He's a freaking gun for hire. Looks more the part now.

Possible Deathstroke DLC missions similar to AC's Catwoman stuff:

The version of him from Teen Titans (just named Slade) was pretty cool, design-wise. Classic mask but more of armored version of it (though the split-color design was held intact), and he wore body armor in addition to his suit.

The only time I haven't liked the classic look is when he appears on the Arrow show. I think an armored mask would've been much better.

For me, what's cool about Deathstroke is that at the end of the day, much like Batman he's just a regular dude who can whup your ass. I mean at his core he's just a dude in a mask. With guns.

Now he's moving closer and closer to MK Cyrax/Sektor/Smoke Cyborg type dude. I wouldn't be surprised if in a future project he actually is a cyborg. He does have minute super powers with his enhanced abilities and skill in combat...and the more gadgets and weapons/armor they add to his outfit that part of his character seems to disappear as well. I'm just a fan of Deathstroke being a regular guy who can destroy you.

So apparently Conroy IS back but not as Batman (or at least not younger Batman). Maybe he plays old Bats relating this story to someone? Anyway, Ezio/Chris Redfield is the new, younger, Bats. :(

Joystiq said:
Warner Bros. revealed Batman: Arkham Origins is fronted by two of gaming's most prominent voice actors. Roger Craig Smith is confirmed as the caped crusader, and Troy Baker is his nemesis, the Joker.

If you don't recognize the names, you'll definitely recognize their previous work. Craig Smith's immense portfolio includes Ezio Auditore from Assassin's Creed, Chris Redfield from Resident Evil, and he's the current voice of Sonic. While he's never starred in anything Batman related, he does have superhero experience. It is for the other side, however; he's played Captain America in both games and animations.

Baker is similarly prolific. While he recently graced our screens as Booker DeWitt in BioShock Infinite, his past work includes Sgt. Matt Baker in Gearbox's Brothers in Arms, Snow from the Final Fantasy 13 line, Kai Leng from Mass Effect 3, and Vincent from Catherine. When we profiled Baker around this time last year, he shared his love for all things Batman on the back of starring in Arkham City.

"Being a part of Arkham City was just incredible - because I'm a huge Batman fan," Baker told us, "And to play Two-Face and Robin after growing up watching The Animated Series was a banner moment for me."

The news follows apparent confirmation long-time Batman vocalist Kevin Conroy does star in Origins, but how he features remains to be seen. We know Origins deals with Batman's "initiation into that insane world" of the other Arkham games, so perhaps Conroy's role is something retrospective. Even if Conroy doesn't play the dark knight in any sense in Origins, to fans he's still the goddamn Batman.

Also - awesome four minute trailer:

 Kevin Conroy is working on an Arkham Game, but it is not Arkham Origins. Meaning we've got a prequel being worked on, as well as a sequel. Which would also explain why the normal team isn't work on this game but supervising. They are working on the sequel.

Yeah, so let the speculation begin on the new game. Thank you Twitter!

And before you say "but Flik, its not there on his twitter account", he deleted it. Was saved by the good people at Batman-News.com for all of our enjoyment.
