Fear of being viewed as racist, sexist or homophobic is a powerful tool and it's the de facto weapon of the Toronto BLM chapter. Just look at how they acted when Kathleen Wynne came to meet them on the steps of Queens Park, she talked about racism and one of the members screamed in her face "ANTI BLACK RACISM".

I also find it super interesting that Domise, who in Toronto is viewed as one of the strongest voices of black activism is slowly distancing himself from the movement and Desmond Cole who is probably up there with Domise in terms of visibility is doubling down on the message. He (Cole) actually said that the director of Pride Toronto should step down because Pride isn't going to follow through on the bullshit, completely non-binding agreement he was forced to sign when BLM held the Pride parade hostage.

I just think it's pretty funny that they're claiming victory when opinion on race in this city is more divided then ever. I mean, you know shit is fucked up when Georgio Mammoliti is actually making sense and is the voice of reason. And he's totally right. The politicians are running scared and are catering to their every whim when they should be ignoring them until a change in leadership occurs.

It's also very telling that a lot of the same folks who say "Black Lives Matter" is divisive, and can't decipher (or pretend to not be able too....pundits especially) that BLM isn't anti-any other lives will turn around and scream "Blue Lives Matter" and then easily explain "but it doesn't mean that other lives don't matter"

So it just proves that half of them are just dishonestly trolling BLM, while the other half are just that damn stupid.

It matters like it matters if a former fighter becomes a judge and renders a dumb score for a match. It doesnt. It's still bad. Except that doesnt typically end a human being's life. If you cant handle your job, find a different one that suits you. It shouldn't be the obligation of the rest of society of make excuses on the regular for people who cannot handle the responsibilities they chose to take on.

2) I just meant in terms of racism. Black cops can have biases against black people too, it's not like him being black eliminates that possibility.
