Looks like we have all individual threads for all the previous games in the Borderlands series and not a catch-all thread, so I thought I would create a thread for Borderlands 3 with release a little less than a month away.

I'm excited. The Borderlands series are some of my favorite games and my go-to co-op with friends. I haven't played my system in quite some time and need to re-up my Live subscription when this comes but I got my pre-order for the big edition with all the passes and DLC placed today.

There was this. Which was an article that explained that there were microtransactions in the game, but Randy went on a long tirade about "you are misrepresenting us" and went off on a tirade. To which I do believe I actually wrote to him on Twitter, because he pissed me off with what he said. Especially since I want to make my own studio.

I do realize that Rand Pitchford is the dumbass in all of these, not Gearbox itself and therefore if it was the me from before, I'd be more lenient. So in a way, it is a personal thing to my current sensibilities. Also sorry it took me three days to reply to this.

Loving the weight of guns in this one so far, and the new characters (and their skills) are all very welcome. Went with Moze to start and my two friends I play everything with chose FL4K and Zayn, respectively, so to say that the three of us together lay waste is an understatement.

I do want to get this, but I only played a little bit of Borderlands 2 and was kinda garbage at it. It feels like a game I would enjoy playing co-op, mainly to help cover up my weaknesses, but I don't think any of my small group of Xbox friends are picking it up. I still might end up picking it up though.

I love the series but I definitely only think of it as co-op. I got my copy last week and it is loaded, have tentative plans to hop on for the first time tonight.
