Aye, I've got no problem with that (other then timezones), I'll start a new character if you want (currently lvl 27). They've already announced that DLC will come out for Borderlands, which I'm happy about as it seems a great game. Though saying that, most Gearbox associated games are fun games, they just have that knack of getting it right.

There's lots of DLC coming down the pipe. It's just a shame that it's all based on pop culture BS.

you find TK's dead body hanging from the ceiling, but a living TK is still outside sitting and talking?

It's so odd. I've noticed other glitches as well. I drove right through a gate once.

It's well worth at least a play through. I really enjoyed it. I didn't see much replay value in it, but that's just me.

Broward I'm still up for that, got all the DLC for it, and I still haven't finished the main game! Which is odd, as I really enjoy it when I do play, though would prefer to play it with other people.

I'm in the same pickle, except I have an xbox and all my friends got it for PC.

We need more games like Shadowrun that can be played on both.

Anyway, started playing this thinking even if it was a bad Fallout knockoff that I would enjoy it... well I actually find it better in some respects. Tons of fun. I went with the Soldier, as I always wind up going shotgun/machine gun as my primary weapon...even in Fallout. I just beat Nine Toes so I'm relatively fresh into the game, but I'm loving it so far.

The game was a lot of fun and I really enjoyed it, but the ending left me both scratching and shaking my head. Not good.

I didn't really care for the ending either. Is the DLC any better, does anyone know? Or are they just essentially more sidequests?

I kinda liked the ending - but only because it was clearly inspired by so much Lovecraft.. which is a good way to get me to like anything, really.

As for the DLC - the Zombie Island one is fun, but mainly sidequests. The General Knoxx one is pretty huge and is a full story in and of itself. Obviously not as big as the main game, but a pretty good size in its own right. Moxxi's Underdome is more for duels and challenges. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Borderlands_(video_game)#Downloadable_content has a good description of each DLC.. and apparently there is a 4th DLC coming out. Had no idea!

I just started Zombie Island of Dr. Ned. I'm having a great time killing zombies and running around in the dark with creepy atmosphere is a nice change of pace from the main game, which was out in the open and bright.

But the whole "Dr. Ned, definitely not Dr. Zed... no way" is SLAYING ME with the slapped on fake mustache just sealing the deal. Totally awesome.

The only thing I really hated about the zombie dlc was the puking zombies.. how they can projectile vomit THAT far is a part of science that I don't understand.
