Good for THE HANGOVER. That movie deserves everything it gets.

I'm surprised that Night at the Museum 2 is still up there, considering that it's been buried much worse than Transformers about being a wretchedly awful film that supposedly nobody liked.

Doesn't surprise me. It's a kids movie and there really aren't any out now other than Up. Why a parent would choose the former over the latter, I'm not sure of though.

I think the first Night At The Museum holds the record for the film that's made the most money and I haven't met anybody who's seen it and liked it. Having not seen either of them- I think the new Transformers looks egregiously bad while NATM looks like a harmless, dull kiddie movie.

Both Night at the Museums are harmless fare.......not great, nor horrible either. Typical popcorn fare. Far from wretchedly awful.

Saw both of em in the IMAX, so that helped both the original and the sequel's value to me alot.

That's a big IF though.......as is stands right now, Dark Knight still holds the record of the fastest to x number of dollars (what is it, over 600 million worldwide now?) in history so the film would have to have some seriously strong legs to compete with that. I'd expect it to come to about 750-800 million total by the time all is said and done, but not reach that billion dollar mark that Dark Knight ended up making.

Why are you surprised? Transformers is doing hugely and was #1 last week. Public Enemies wasn't even that great.
