I made this comment in the XBox thread and everyone ignored it.

I'm glad that someone else recognized how fucking awesome that demo is.

Yeah it's a definite buy for me after playing the demo. I wasn't at all interested in it before...but that was a game seller.

Yeah, the demo was a lot of fun. I also had very little interest in the game until playing it. I'm gonna hold off on it for a while though because I gotta finish UA2 and I want to get Uncharted 2. But yeah, what a pleasant surprise.

The game was barely on my radar till I played the demo. I mean, the concept sounded cool, but so many big releases are coming out and I have such a backlog anyway... But hell, if I can affordd to partake in the TRU sale, this will be one of my 3 games.

Enjoyed the demo... still on the fence, though. I might end up picking it up after the price decreases.

The full features seem a lot more than the demo. Flying, leading an army? Probably going to be an awesome game.

Yeah, I may wait until the full game comes out before deciding to buy it or not. I like the world, the characters, the voice acting, but the demo never really sold me on the game play. There were parts I enjoyed, but it seemed like a mindless hack and slash type of game when you get into it.

All the same, I'll probably buy it eventually, just not at launch date.

The Demo was fun, I admit, however with Uncharted 2(which early ratings are off the frickin' charts) coming out in less than a week, followed by Modern Warefare 2 at the beginning of November, I will have to push Brutal Legend to that second tier of games I am interested in. Maybe I will put it on a Christmas wish list....

As much as I love this game... The RTS portions aka most of the main quest are fucking annoying, hard as fuck and make me want to cut my arms detailing how much pain and agony the game is causing me.

That was my worry when I saw the trailer at the end of the demo. I really enjoyed the hack and slash aspect and the driving section broke up what would have become monotonous. But the RTS parts looked like they would suck and would make me beg for the monotony to come back.

Well i finished the game last night. The mission i was stuck on was oddly far easier the second try around. The game is alot easier if you locate all the "solos" which help you during the RTS portions such as stopping the opponent being able to build any new forces for a while etc.

Also the "Troops spawn to this flag" is the most usefull thing ever. I never thought of using it the first time around, but having all your troops gather near where you need to get past gives you an advantage over everything.

Just finished it and agree with what everyone is saying. This game was cool, but the RTS quests were so annoying. The demo is pretty misleading. It gives you the impression it's a hack and slash, kind of like God Of War, but towards the end of the game, when you're knee deep in RTS quests, you'll be so busy trying to form an army and get them to certain points, that you barely use your own character to fight. Definitely not worth full price. It's not bad, it can be really fun actually, but it's not great, and very frustrating at times.

I agree with the post above.

The game is just weird to figure. I wish I didn't pay full price for it, but I kinda like it. The shittiest thing of all is that I feel like I've only played 3-4 hours and I'm 41% complete according to the menu. That kinda sucks. With all that said I still kind of like it.

I finally finished this with 84% completion.

My original goal was to get 100%, but I thought about it for about 30 seconds... popped the game out and might never put it back in. I don't know. The only achievement I got for total completion was finding all the solos.
