I've got a program that I use for my writing, only it's not compatible with Word 2007 (which is what I have).

And I can't find anywhere were I can download a copy of Word 2003. Anyone know where I can get one?

I don't think there is a 64-bit Office '03, but a quick look online says the 32-bit version works with 64-bit Windows 7.

Does it need to be office 2003?

Also 2010 is in beta testing.

Openoffice.org is compatible with Word 2007 and it's free.

That is mostly true, and this is just a guess until he clarifies, but luke-o's "program" sounds like it could either be using, or is by itself, an MS Office-specific add-on. In which case, OpenOffice might not be too useful.
