Chick-Fil-A is opening up it's first Canadian location in Toronto in 2019. Should I give my money to such a virulently homophobic company?

Well, the owner is dead now. Generally, the staff is very friendly and well trained so I don't mind if it a piece of my money (albeit a very small piece) goes into their pockets.

Can't really beat their Cookies and Cream milkshakes.

My last job actually did a lot of advertising work with them. A lot of my co-workers had the same problem so the company sent our office a one-sheeter ensuring us that they're not homophobic and actually contribute to good causes. A lot of people called bullshit on it.

I just know the minimum wage teenagers that stuff my nuggets way past capacity are awesome and are worth my time and money. None of them are spewing out hate speech. Back in my mall days we had a quid pro quo thing going on and I guess my face just radiates "hook him up" 15 years later?

Damage has already been done IMO and to me, I don't think their chicken sandwiches are that much better (if at all) than like Wendy's.

But they're opening their first Southern Maine location in 2020 so I could be proven to be a hypocrite!

Ate there yesterday for the first time since 2019 and the sandwich was OK but not as good as Popeye’s. But those waffle fries are really nothing special. I brought them home and air fried them and still I found them bland. CFA should really consider switching to crinkle cut fries like Nathan’s imo.

Edit: This post looks bad following that last one.

Ate there today. A lesbian runs our local one so I don't give a shit about ownership.

Our local one adheres to the closed on Sundays rule but also I have been in neighboring businesses on Sundays and have observed large scale children's parties going on and staffed by employees in full uniform.

They're closed to the public, but not to private parties.
