Just got a new laptop, plan on picking up the version with both expansions and Colonization; my roomie has a copy on his PC, that's where I play it.

Really looking forward to trying Colonization. I played the shit out of the old-school version.

I love the game, been playing for 4 and a half years. The user add-on mods refresh the game to allow such a person to keep playing for years.

I LOVE Civ 4. However, Gamespy multiplayer was broken for me EVERY time I tried to play Multi.

I'm playing a ludicrous amount again. Mainly playing the "Earth2" map generator which places 12 civilizations on an Asia/Europe sized continent, leaving the other continents to be colonized later.

I remember when 4 of us kids at home played the first Civ, we'd start a new game and we'd each play that same game separately. So addictive.

I remember playing Civ 3 many years ago and getting angry when Gandhi, a self professed man of peace, continually demanded that I pay him tribute or he would invade my country. Gotta love the unintentional hilarity of the games.

Earth2 sounds good, where do you find that?

I think it either comes with Beyond the Sword expansion or the update for it.
