The MegaPowers headline against the dastardly duo of Kevin Sullivan and The Butcher, Sting squares off with the massive Avalanche, Harlem Heat defends their gold in a bout with Stars and Stripes, Alex Wright tries to go sky high with Bobby Eaton and Arn Anderson battles Johnny B Badd - plus all sorts of backstage news and notes from the era!

There's some good wrestling on that Clash and it showed a lot of possibilities for WCW at the time. Angel/Bubba's heel turn was dinged a bit by the goofy promo afterward but he still had mileage as a worker and character. The heel turn was just to deplete the face side and feed someone to Hogan, tho.

Big main event for TV, exactly what the Clash series was made for. Any good that did or could've come from it was obscured by killing off TWO finishers. Carved the epitaph for Macho's elbow drop and then ended the show with Hulkster no selling Vader's powerbomb.
