Rostam whateverthefuckhislastnameis (of TSM darlings Vampire Weekend) and Wes Miles (of Ra Ra Riot, who have dinner at my house when they play North Florida) have formed a white-guy R&B band called Discovery. The album has leaked. This will be my summer jam.

Sounds a lot more like Animal Collective than anything to do with R&B. Also, am I imagining things or did they crib part of the melody to "Leavin' On a Jet Plane"?

Missed this thread... not the biggest Vampire Weekend fan and I'm not that in to Ra Ra Riot, but I love this album.

Orange Shirt, Osaka Loop Line, I Want You Back, Swing Tree, Carby, I Want To Be Your Boyfriend are all quality.

But So Insane is the best song on the album, hands down.

Why isn't anybody into Ra Ra Riot? Ra Ra Riot are awesome (even Czech said that "Ghost Under Rocks" was ok!). Plus, you'll never meet a nicer, funnier group of people.

I still dig this record. I even like the Jackson 5 cover.
