I voted they're alright. I'm the kind of dick who when someone says "You either love or hate The Eagles", butts in and says "Well, I think they're just OK."

Some good songs but man, Don Henley and Glenn Frey are huge dicks. And I always hated the band name is just Eagles, not the Eagles. I'm all for unique band names but c'mon!

I feel like a lot of people under the age of 30 hate Eagles purely on the basis of The Big Lebowski scene where the cab driver throws Jeff Bridges out of the car for complaining about Eagles being on the radio. Which is hilarious (the scene and that notion). You could have inserted any number of detestable dad rockers (Tom Petty, Bob Seger, or John Mellencamp) in that scene but I think the Coens made the right choice by using The Eagles.
