Since Dana and EA will probably never get along, EA has jumped into the MMA gaming world all by itself. White has said on a number of occasions that any fighter signed with EA Sports will not recieve any consideration for a UFC career.

So far I believe Fedor, King Mo Lawal, Frank Shamrock, and Tim Kennedy have signed. Any wishlists or features you want in this game? I have a feeling Strikeforce will be getting plenty of exposure upon its release. Also, there is a chance that Randy Couture may be in the game as his new contract allows him to consider these possibilities. The thought of playing a Fedor/Couture fight is almost too good to pass up. Your thoughts?

I'm pretty sure Couture is confirmed for the game.

UFC Undisputed is really good, and I'm not sure how well this will do. Have they announced whether it's ring or cage yet?

Really, as long as it has a better CAF feature than Undisputed's stupidly limited one, I'll probably like it better.

More submissions would go a LONG way. Better CAF, more varied move lists, some entrances, etc, will also help. The roster will probably in no way compete, though.

Well if they put some "classic" fighters in it (Bas, Shammy, Royce, Kimo) and jazz it up with some theatrics (Wrestlemania: The Arcade Game), I think they could do wonders. Imagine Maurice Smith throwing a kick where his leg actually turns into a baseball bat being swung at 88 mph.

Yeah, anyone from the UFC appearing in this game will get the fucked over according to White, yet he was happy to bend over and let Courture sign up to EA's MMA game and sign a new contract with UFC as its 'good business', double standards HOOOO!

Roster is going to be a big factor, I'm not saying I'm an MMA nut (and I'm not) but I only really know of people from UFC, so the appeal of this game playing as unknown fighters isn't going to be high unless its an amazing game. Saying that, if they can get former UFC legends or whatever to appear (as mentioned in the opening post) or fighters I know due to their world fame.

Well on the plus side Undisputed is a good game so the model for a good MMA game is already out there on the market, it's not like EA will be starting from scratch.

I hope they look to add classic fighters and fighters from all over the MMA world.

Downloaded and played the demo today. After 3 fights totaling less than 90 seconds combined I turned it off.

I am in love with this game. I had an asburdly intense double title fight with Robbie Lawler and Joachim Hansen. I knocked out Hansen in his guard in the fifth round after a blood bath.

As long as Ken Shamrock isn't as worthless in the game as he is in real life, I'll enjoy playing as him in this.

Picked this up a couple of days ago (behind the times, I know). The strikes are a bit limited, not the same variation as you get in UFC 11, but after a bit of 'WTF?' I've decided I do like the right stick strike control as it allows you to throw combinations much easier than the UFC (and move around at the same time, as well). One thing that does annoy me is that my computer opponent is able to sway away from my punches or parry them, and I can't find any instructions on how I should be able to do that.
