I knew Chris would reply. I'd like to try the game since I loved soccer games back on the N64 (International Superstar Soccer series) but I couldn't see myself paying more than $20 or so for one.

It's a quality game, if you can get past ranked being nothing but Barca/Man U/Liverpool/Inter. I keep having to be Chelsea just to compete.

Yeah, that's annoying as hell, especially when people have Arsenal or Chelsea as their default fav team then choose Barca... even though the Toon are in the Championship next year, I'll still be Newcastle online. XboxLive ruins online games at times.

..and last I checked, Winning Eleven and Pro Evolution are the same game. I think the Winning Eleven might still be the same name in Europe and Asia but its Pro Evo here because people were getting confused due to it being "Winning Eleven Seven" and such..

I've got this on the 360. Takes me about 6 attempts to get an online game that's not against a 5 star team. I'm quite bad at games anyway but i just can't defend properly on this - much preferred the great slide tackling & proper defensive headers that PES 5/6 allowed.

I don't play too much these days, but still enjoy the game when I throw it in. I should get online, and I enjoy the multi-player mode..the only problem being that sometimes people don't play their actual positions. They don't realize that the best way to win is to pass the ball and play as a team.

I haven't bought a FIFA since... 07, I think. I'm still playing PES 08. (And getting incredibly frustrated with it, the PSP version is irritating a fuck the moment you move up to Regular difficulty and I don't know how my PSP is still, just about, in one piece).

I've never played any of the FIFA games, but am starting to get into soccer a bit. Is there a recommendation for what is the best soccer game out there that I can pick up? I'd like it to be somewhat realistic and not arcadish where it's very simple to score goals. Thanks.
