So, there was some lawsuit recently and Ticketmaster lost. If you purchased tickets between 1999 and 2013, you might have free ticket vouchers. I have 10 vouchers for 2 tickets and 10 vouchers for $2.25 off any order. There is a catch, though, that it can be used for certain events. They haven't posted which events yet, but the tickets are good until 2020.

Here is some more info/

I've got 17. If the discounts can be stacked I'll get half off on one ticket basically, if not then meh. And I expect to not be able to ever use the free tickets, ignoring the fact that I don't do general admission anyway when at all possible.

I haven't used Ticketmaster in like 5 years and it took me a while to remember my account info, but I got 8. I'll probably forget about them and then they'll expire.

Yeah, I rarely use Ticketmaster and I had to reset my account because I forgot which e-mail I had it under but I finally logged on and saw I had three free vouchers and three discount vouchers. Not too shabby.

Thanks for the heads up. I've changed my e-mail a bunch of times and have to dig to find the one I used in the 00's when I probably used Ticketmaster the most, but I did remember one old one that I've got a 2 ticket voucher and $2.25 discount on, so that's cool. Thing is, I've been doing Stubhub for tickets so much over the last 5-8 years or so that I haven't bought direct from TM much, but from 99-06 or so when I went to lots of concerts I know I used them a ton.

Just tried to use my voucher code to get tickets to see Brian Fallon (Gaslight Anthem). Wouldn't work. Sounds like it'll take time for events to be selected for eligibility.

Just have two ticket vouchers and 1 $2.25 code. Seems low

Wow, I got 7 free ticket vouchers and 7 discounts. And I don't think I've used Ticketmaster in six years.

Has anyone successfully gotten a free ticket yet? Everything I've tried wasn't ellegable. And I'm not going after expensive stuff.

I don't get the feeling that anything's going to be available this year.

I went ahead and ordered tickets for Weird Al in Indianapolis on July 7. Not really sure if I'll even go, since it's a two hour drive. But no cost no loss either way. And it worked.

One note about the free GA vouchers. They're only for select concerts in what appears to be select markets (closest to me is either Indianapolis or Cuyahoga Falls). And only for concerts offered till May 2017. But the way I see it free is free, and if something really interests me (like Weird Al) I'll bite.

You should change your signiature to "Weird Al really interests me".

I told the chat last night that I didn't expect any tickets to be available for another year based on my (faulty) interpretation of the lawsuit settlement. I was dead wrong. :( The only show on the list that I was interested in, Sabbath at the PNC Bank Arts Center, was sold out of free tickets before I could even get my vouchers to load, but they were just lawn tickets, so who cares.

It looks like there are 400+ events that some of these are good for. Zero in Michigan now though.
