The more I hear the less interested I am. I like the network as it is now. Granted, I don't need to see episodes of Cheaters, but they've found a market that's been ignored by all the other networks, why not stick with it.
I have a feeling a more tech-oriented audience is less and less likely to watch traditional TV these days. I like it, but I'm also a bit of a dinosaur—I don't have a smartphone or a decent tablet, I've never really done podcasts, or paid close attention to any sort of web series, for whatever reason. Also, until recently, the only computer in the house was 6+ years old (slightly upgraded here and there), with a 4.2 Mbps connection. Now, I'm... still using that old computer, and got a bump to about 5.1 Mbps. Woop woop. And there's no big HDTV I can use as a computer monitor. That's all to say, it's not been unbearable to turn to web sources for traditional TV content, but it's not ideal. Anyhow.
They've moved away from the techy audience already. The Canadian primetime lineup is currently
AOTS at 7,
UFO Hunters, an assortment of Adult Swim, and then a repeat of
Reviews on the Run and
EP Daily.
X-Play is one of the two American flagship shows, and I don't even know when new episodes air. 1AM maybe? It's on plenty if I tune in during the day, but all I ever seem to catch is reruns.

I'm curious what the Canadian channel will end up doing. It's not like losing two shows (I'm assuming) would be crippling. Vic Lucas and the Greedy gang could probably fill that time with some kind of new thing.
