I'm watching the Lakers game and all of a sudden nicole scherzinger shows up on my tv covering Black Dog by Led Zeppelin! It was awful. The worst part might be that the band that helped her do this was Jason Bonham's Led Zeppelin Experience!

My second piece of evidence is fergie covering Guns N Roses' Sweet Child O Mine. Also, Slash helped in this travesty! Awful.

The third piece of evidence is another awful Guns N Roses cover. Sheryl Crow is the perpetrator this time. Also, just awful.

What's funny is that Miley Cyrus probably would have fit better in the musical landscape of the early-mid 90s grunge scene than she does in today's shit. That's a voice tailor made for Lilith Fair.

The Cheryl Crow version of Sweet Child O' Mine is better than the original. I'm dead serious.

GNR is stupid as fuck and bad enough the way it is, but the lyrics of this song strikes me as being really maternal. With Axl Rose being a huge pussy and all, it sounds fairly natural in his voice, but is more resonant from the voice of an actual woman. Still kinda blows, but Crow's cover is more appropriate.
