I have a CR-48 (Google's test laptop for Chromebooks) and I have to say I don't think I'd pay more than $200, max, at retail. the whole point of these things is affordability which the first Chromebooks are definitely not going to be... I think the Samsung ones are selling for as low as $399 for wi-fi only and $449 for one with 3G. That's totally outrageous when you can buy an Android-powered tablet for roughly the same price and get essentially the same thing. I will say, however, that due to the battery life it gets and because its primary purpose is getting on the net, I find it to be a really great laptop for traveling.
Oh, and Google makes the best informative videos.
