Anyone use Google Documents? The format is pretty easy to use, but I can't figure out how to save my Word Documents on my computer so I can upload them on another site.

I don't feel like paying for Microsoft and I haven't heard a lot of great things about Open Office so I'm looking for an alternative.

I'm confused by your question. You want to know how to click the "Save As" on the Word Doc and save it to your desk top so you can up load it?

Worked fine for me.

I just bought a new computer over the weekend and I'm trying to get use to Windows 7. Anyway, when I click "File," all I see is "Save" and "Save and Close."

Are you using word 2007 (or 2010)? They moved to a tab format and now all the commands are spread out along the top. There should also be a small black down arrow near the big windows circle button to add more shortcut commands.
