Yeah, you definitely don't need invites to get a Gmail account anymore.

This is the first I'm hearing of "Google Wave". Sounds intriguing.

They had some strange commercials that never said what it was advertising. I only knew it was Google based by reading copyright fine print at the end.

hmph, I haven't gotten it yet. It should be noted the actual email is piccone.nick@gmail.com , however I have always been able to use picconenick@gmail.com while getting all of my email. Weird.
