Madden 93 was my first NFL game (Cousin had the NFL NES game from 87 or whatever that was AWFUL IIRC and rarely made our rotation).

But what a banger!!!
Played this for endless hours (likely 2 years+ before Tecmo Super Bowl 3 came out and changed my life. )
Madden 93 helped feed my love for the 85 Bears, a team I basically didn't know existed until Walter Payton showed up on WWF TV.
I think I own a copy of every PS1 and PS2 version but gave up on PS3 after they killed the franchise mode a decade ago.

"Brett Favre sure can throw the pickle!" - Madden in game commentary I heard 64,439 times.

I always hated how bad the Favre-less Packers were in Madden 93. His pre-game commentary for the team is literally like "The offense sucks and they struggle to score points"
