I genuinely did not realize that Killer Khan was still alive (well up until recently). Had a hell of a run! RIP big man!
Yeah I could've sworn he died around 2015 or 16. His matches with Terry Gordy and Andre are awesome and he was a ton of fun in the 80's.

One of the reasons I'm guessing he lived relatively long for a wrestler is his in-ring career was relatively short. Retired nearish his prime in 1987. We didn't get him awkwardly farting around the mid card of '89-'91 WCW like some of his peers. Probably realized the wrestling boom had peaked and had enough money to go back to Japan and become a bar owner.
His 1987 run is pretty rare for that era of wwf. He's barely on tv for the most part. Squash matches to establish the mist gimmick. Gets a run with Hogan on the house show circuit and is gone. That's it.
