Anyone play these types of games? Basically..

A Living Card Game® (LCG®) offers an innovative fixed distribution method that breaks away from the traditional Collectible Card Game model. While LCGs still offer the same dynamic, expanding, and constantly evolving game play that makes CCG’s so much fun, they do away with the deterrent of the blind-buy purchase model that has burned out so many players. The end result is an innovative mix that gives you the best of both worlds!

I picked up the Game of Thrones core set + some expansions a while back. I've only played the game with one other person who is also an Ice & Fire nut. I imagine it'd be really fun with 4 (or sometimes 6, apparently) players but it's still fun even with 2.

LCG? No. I stopped with CCGs when it became more of whoever has more money can buy a better deck and when Wizard continued off their deep end of changing rules and adding in new "elements" that just confuse the shit out of people.

That's what I like about LCGs like this. All of the decks/sets are the same, never random. You can still build your decks, but each player (for GOT above at least) needs to pick a different house.
