So I'm trying to figure out why the hell my computer keeps crashing and I thought to check the memory by running memtest. Here are my results.

How bad is that? I'm guessing pretty bad.

Well, a blue screen is never good, so that's bad, and, like, almost half of it is red, so that's really bad.

haha, I'm gonna have to reseat the memory and try it again then test each stick one by one. This sucks.

I've had bad memory that crashed my system constantly pass the memtest with flying colors (aka: blue) so yeah I think either your memory or the slot is fucked.

Anytime Memtest flashes anything in red it's bad. Try each stick individual in the computer, try cleaning the terminals on the motherboard. and hope the RAM has a lifetime warranty.

I was thinking about that. How can I tell? Will they need anything beside the stick of memory itself?

Follow D if you want to clean out the RAM slot. Other than that, I put one stick of RAM in Slot 1. If no errors show up, then I turn off the computer. Put that stick in the next slot and run the test again. If it clears, then you know the stick is fine. Take the 2nd stick, place it in Slot 1, test it and go on from there.
