Anybody else picking this up? Just pre-ordered on my PS4 with it dropping on 3/31.

I skipped last year, so this should hopefully be an actual meaningful upgrade. I went ahead and ordered the 10th Anniversary special edition since it was only $10 more, which dropped down to $8 more using the Best Buy Gamers Club. Nothing particularly great included, but a decent upgrade for $8.

So they apparently took out the classic one touch Swing Button/Timing mode but you can get around it by choosing "Directional" and just using the swing button for timing.

Also they've re-vamped the stance selections into Prospects, Veterans, and All-Stars for the generics. I'm assuming the same is for the Pitchers.

For Road to the Show, you now have a 3 game exhibition prior to the MLB Draft.

There's also a Dynamic Hitting mode that allows the game to get progressively harder as you adjust to each hitting level.

Fun Fact: You can get drafted or "go back to school" and choose a JuCo, 2 Year, or 3 Year College and get extra XP.

I think so, if only because it would be my first PS4 MLB game.

The last time I played The Show it was 06, and in one season I played all 162 games. Def getting this.

I like how it took until 2015 to able to use your saves from the year before.

The dynamic difficulty setting has me at Hall of Fame hitting and Rookie pitching. I'm not sure if that's more impressive or incredibly embarrassing.

Yeah, I ended up settling myself on Veteran Hitting and Veteran Pitching due to my timing struggles. I was well at Veteran+ but was struggling something awful as soon as I hit All-Star level hitting (like hitting .156 or something over 90+ at bats down from a solid .285-.295 level at Veteran+).

I even lowered the Pitch Speed to 0 on the Sliders and I'm still lucky if I get a "GOOD" contact/timing once in a blue moon.

Bwahaha... mashed a shot to the gap for a Triple then the throw home skipped by the Catcher so I scored with ease. My first inside the park home run!

Keep getting the dreaded "Gameplay Recording Paused" message in MLB 15 The Show? Follow these directions to disable it.

1. Hit the 'share' button on your controller. It's that small button on the middle left. This can be done within the game.
2. Hit the options button, middle right of controller
3. Click on Share Settings
4. Click on Video Clip Settings
5. Uncheck Indicate Blocked Scenes for Video Recording
6. Enjoy The Show without those annoying notifications

Edit: Fixed with 2015 List

Picked this up for PS3. Took about 10 games to get my timing down with hitting but enjoying it so far.

Just a heads up that the best way to build up XP/Stubs to buy 'Packs' I've found is through Diamond Dynasty and Franchise Mode.

Interesting stuff found in the prior post... looks like you mainly want to play Franchise if you want to build up your Stubs rapidly. Gonna try out Diamond Dynasty and will add that to the post.

Figured as much. Franchise/DD give you the most Stubs (assuming RTTS at MLB level doesn't match it).
