I skipped last year, so this should hopefully be an actual meaningful upgrade. I went ahead and ordered the 10th Anniversary special edition since it was only $10 more, which dropped down to $8 more using the Best Buy Gamers Club. Nothing particularly great included, but a decent upgrade for $8.
So they apparently took out the classic one touch Swing Button/Timing mode but you can get around it by choosing "Directional" and just using the swing button for timing.
Also they've re-vamped the stance selections into Prospects, Veterans, and All-Stars for the generics. I'm assuming the same is for the Pitchers.
For Road to the Show, you now have a 3 game exhibition prior to the MLB Draft.
Yeah, I ended up settling myself on Veteran Hitting and Veteran Pitching due to my timing struggles. I was well at Veteran+ but was struggling something awful as soon as I hit All-Star level hitting (like hitting .156 or something over 90+ at bats down from a solid .285-.295 level at Veteran+).
I even lowered the Pitch Speed to 0 on the Sliders and I'm still lucky if I get a "GOOD" contact/timing once in a blue moon.
Keep getting the dreaded "Gameplay Recording Paused" message in MLB 15 The Show? Follow these directions to disable it.

2. Hit the options button, middle right of controller
3. Click on Share Settings
4. Click on Video Clip Settings
5. Uncheck Indicate Blocked Scenes for Video Recording
6. Enjoy The Show without those annoying notifications

Interesting stuff found in the prior post... looks like you mainly want to play Franchise if you want to build up your Stubs rapidly. Gonna try out Diamond Dynasty and will add that to the post.
Figured as much. Franchise/DD give you the most Stubs (assuming RTTS at MLB level doesn't match it).
