Celtics beat the Warriors by 52 points.

I know it’s still the regular season and we still have a quarter of a season plus playoffs to go but feels good, man!

Otto Porter Jr has announced his retirement after 11 seasons.

Frig. Time flies. I would have guessed he came into the league 6 or 7 years ago.
I'll always remember that Otto Porter Jr. was the third overall pick in one of the weakest drafts in the modern NBA. That said, however, he was taken ahead of some noteworthy players, including Giannis, CJ McCollum and Gobert.

That draft definitely had the weakest #1 pick of all time. Hard to say a draft that includes a generational talent like Greek Freak is an all time weakest though.

Weaker than Hot Rod Hundley? And I didn't say all-time weakest, I said in the modern era. The only other post-lottery era draft in the conversation is 2000, and you're stretching the definition of "modern" to include that.

Building off of Krankor's remark in the Fantasy NBA thread but stars not playing is a big reason I've lost interest. LeBron has played more than 60 games just twice since 2017-2018 (68, his highest being this year). Steph Curry has routinely been 55-70 GP a year since 2016-17. Giannis has mostly been in that 60-72 range. Luka's been 65-70 for his entire career. I acknowledge the injury aspect, see guys like Embiid for that and Giannis to an extent, but still...

Michael Jordan at age 39 played in 82, started 67, and averaged 37 MPG. Kobe for most of the 2000s was 80-82.

I can't imagine paying $500+ for a ticket and it being a 50/50 coin flip if the superstar(s) of the game may play or need the night off for "rest"/"recuperation".

Funniest play of the year and sums up the Bulls. Drummond also injured himself on this play.

I'm thinking of changing this pic to my sig, but I like my Tony Dalton combo:

I don't consider awards to be part of the offseason if they are for the season in progress so I'll post this here. I feel like these are way harder to make than NFL games since you have 82 games for 30 teams to watch and I only watch a handful of games a week, but that has never stopped the press from doing these for 75+ years.

Going to Game 3 because why not. That was expensive though.
