Whole thing is streaming on NPR http://www.npr.org/2015/01/11/376085344/first-listen-sleater-kinney-no-cities-to-love

I almost titled this thread "Best of 2015" because, let's be honest, nothing better than this is gonna come out this year.

The closest they're coming to me is Atlanta. Thinking about making the drive.

Haven't listened to this, but The Woods is the only album of theirs I liked. I mention this because overall I should like S-K more than I actually do.

Woah, I had no idea they were releasing a new album.

The Woods is their standout, but the early albums are due for a re-listen.

All Hands on the Bad One was always my favorite album. This is a band I haven't even thought of in years.

They're skipping Michigan. So I'm out

Can't wait for some 20-year-old toolbox to yell "PUT A BIRD ON IT" between songs.

Been on an all S-K kick of late leading up to next week's show. Not listening to "One More Hour" or "Light Rail Coyote" every month is a life deficiency.

They're one of my top 3 fave bands of all-time. All Hands is also my fave of theirs but The Woods is pretty close. This one will be the best album of the year, whatever that is worth.

I'm going up to Atlanta to see them in April and I WILL be crying through almost every song. I never thought I'd get to see them after missing that last tour so I'm making the most of this one.

Show was last night and was seriously great. Summary (minor set list spoilers, though it looks like they're rotating 8-10 songs in and out every night anyway)

Dude
Corin Tucker is better live??
This rules
This rocks
Holy shit Light Rail Coyote
Holy shit One Beat
Good Things oh god am I gonna cry
pile of feelings, glad it's dark in here
Dig Me Out STOP YES YOU GOT ME FOR NOW I AGREE
wow that was amazing thank god for a breather before the encore LET'S CALL IT LOVE whoa
Good thing my emotions were stabilized by that thundering pile of ass kicking and this delightful singalong that followed
nevermind One More Hour I'm dead

Well, shit. I like this new one a whole lot. Time to reconsider the back catalog!
