I was holding out hope that maybe Fields would show enough to warrant being kept another year under a new OC. Chicago could have built their offense more through the draft with Harrison Jr & a 1st rd LT. If Fields failed in 2024, the Chicago offense would be in a better spot for the next QB.

I just don't see him being on the roster next year. All of his failures last night were on him. No pocket awareness. No downfield accuracy. Any time he was asked to not throw a screen he just stands in the pocket and freezes like a deer in headlights. I see zero development.

Even though Dobbs had 4 picks, he looked like a far better quarterback. Minnesota just didnt properly prepare for how Chicago's defense has developed since the Montez Sweat trade.

Probably just an agent pumping bullshit out but even if this was legitimate, it’s god damn stupid and shows this owner like the one in Carolina is a fucking dumb fuck if he actually thinks this is the move.

Jonathan Taylor is going to have surgery on his thumb and miss 2-3 weeks probably.

Your 7 top rushing leaders: C-Mac by a mile at 939, Raheem Mostert in 2nd at 785, Josh Jacobs, D'Andre Swift, Derrick Henry, James Cook (700+ yards and only has 1 rushing TD... do the Bills think he's Barry Sanders?!?), and Travis Etienne Jr. Bijan Robinson is 8th at 703 with Saquon right behind him at 697 yards.

Damn, I was hoping we beat Jacksonville last week because there's no overcoming the lucha-powered Denver Broncos. Whelp, here's to a two-game losing streak.

Aaron Rodgers has been cleared to return to practice with the Jets in the faint hope of a playoff push.

Aka keep attention on Aaron and his anti science agenda

Sounds like Zappe will be the starter. He reportedly told media people he'd be at the podium tomorrow for questions so hopefully, we've seen the last of Mac in NE. Wouldn't surprise me at all if it's revealed that Kraft kept pressuring Bill to start Mac (much like Kraft is highly believed to be behind keeping Brady and trading Jimmy G when Belichick was ready to start Jimmy and let Brady walk).

I am ready to let myself to be hurt again, @HarleyQuinn .
I don't buy the "Robert Kraft forced Bill to pick Mac then continuously start him" argument that the Belichick camp is throwing out there (presumably to save face for when him and the Patriots part way in a few months). Nobody is going to force Bill Belichick to do anything personnel decision wise. He had to be dragged kicking and screaming to hire an actual offensive coordinator (then barely gives him any power if Bill O'Brien's media call the other day is to be believed).

These next six games are going to be surreal. I never thought we'd see the lame duck era of Bill Belichick.

The last 2 weeks of Packer Twitter going from FIRE EVERYONE to Jordon Love is better than Rodgers because______ has been a wild ride.

Packers are getting back Macho Man Darnell Savage and Eric Stokes for Sunday.

Good times keep rolling in Buffalo as an arrest warrant for Von Miller was issued in relations to a domestic violence case.

Dallas/Seattle was a fun, if penalty flag heavy, shootout! Dak and Geno were both out there just balling. Bland, despite the pick, was getting picked on a lot but DK's a tough opponent to cover.

"Also announced on Thursday: The schedule for the NFL Network tripleheader on Saturday, Dec. 16 (which also can be streamed across devices with NFL+). That trio of games is highlighted by Denver Broncos-Detroit Lions at 8:15 p.m. ET. The two other NFL Network games are Minnesota Vikings-Cincinnati Bengals (1 p.m. ET) and Pittsburgh Steelers-Indianapolis Colts (4:30 p.m. ET).

Two additional schedule changes for Week 15 were announced on Thursday: Atlanta Falcons-Carolina Panthers -- Sunday, Dec. 17 at 1 p.m. on FOX. Chicago Bears-Cleveland Browns -- Sunday, Dec. 17 at 1 p.m. on FOX."

Patriots podcast I just listened to brought up the possibility of Bill Belichick being head coach for Buffalo next year.

I am still not 100% certain Bill is gone after this season. I am like 75 to 99% sure it’s his last season but I will believe he is gone when I see it.

I am 99.999998% sure he won’t be Buffalo’s next coach!

They have a lot of money to spend in the offseason so that is one thing Patriots don’t have to worry about in 2024.
Right now, the Pats are looking at $75.796 Million in cap space. In theory several players will be re-signed as UFAs hopefully though as there are some notable key names to bring back: RG/RT Mike Owenwu, TE Hunter Henry(?), ST Matt Slater (if he doesn't retire), WR Kendrick Bourne (I think he's a great #2/#3 WR option so I'd like NE to bring him back), SS Kyle Dugger, DE/OLB Josh Uche (kind of underperformed this year but we'll see if he returns), and CB Myles Bryant (I think he's a solid NB but he often gets thrown into outside CB spots due to injuries, which exposes his flaws more).

I think they'll let LT Trent Brown, RB Ezekiel Elliott, TE Mike Gesicki, CB Jalen Mills, and OLB Anfernee Jennings walk. TE Pharoah Brown & LB Mack Wilson could return but price will be a key factor. I'd like to see Cody Davis return as he's key to the ST but I could see him retiring too as he'll be 35 next year.
