Btw @Piss Jug Connor you wondered aloud last week about why would CBS elect to do the Raider and Pats game with their A team.

Well the reason for that is that CBS has the Super Bowl this year and it’s in LV.

Networks traditionally want to do a test run in the market that host the Super Bowl during the season and this is the best and only opportunity for them to do so.

XFL legend PJ Walker will start for the Browns this weekend, marking him as the 36th different starting QB for the Browns since their return to the league in 1999.

Just to compare to the rest of the AFC North

Cincinnati: 13
Pittsburgh: 14
Baltimore: 21

CBs Sauce Gardner (Concussion) and D.J. Reeder are both out for the Jets. They also lost CB depth as STer Justin Hardee is out 4-6 weeks.

Vikings will be without Justin Jefferson for 4-6 weeks while WR Tyquan Thornton has been activated off IR for the Patriots.

The Deshaun Watson scenario is getting interesting as there are rumblings he could miss multiple games (with Watson pushing that narrative) while the Browns are trying to claim they've been told that he's healthy enough to practice at least. So glad they paid him all that guaranteed money and are dealing with this drama.

I have no idea how the Jets won that game. No clue what Eagles were doing throwing there when the Jets had no timeouts left. Unreal.

Zero undefeated teams left now.

Justin Fields might be the slowest quarterback at mentally processing defensive pressure I've ever seen. I can't tell at times if he is intentionally killing drives because he doesn't agree with the coaching or what. I've never seen a QB as bad at avoiding a sack as him. Last year I think he was successful at rushing because he wasn't even looking to pass. The Bears have had a lot of truly terrible quarterbacks over the last 30 years. Fields is on the Mt Rushmore of their failures right now. I'm 100% done with that guy.

I'm guessing Fields' dislocated thumb will keep him out a minimum of 2 or 3 games because that team and coaches need to evaluate how much worse they actually are with an undrafted rookie quarterback compared to Fields. Judging by the 2nd half of that game, they actually looked better with the undrafted rookie.

Patriots played awful execution at the worst times and made a ton of miscues. Costly penalties (1 which overturned a 75 yard TD by Stevenson, another that turned over a 1st down on their last drive) and bad execution (Parker's drop of Mac's perfectly placed deep throw on that last drive), and turnovers (Mac scrambling to his right and airmailing it past an open Hunter Henry) again reared their heads in this one.

It was nice to see Bourne get involved and be force-fed the ball by Mac by virtue of Mac basically not trusting anybody else to make a play or do anything with the ball.

Defensively, the Patriots did the best they could. They largely shut down Jacobs & the run game (77 yards but it took 25 carries) and limited Davante Adams (2 catches for 29 yards) but the offense couldn't consistently do their job and it resulted in yet another loss.

Hopefully the 49ers got their "play like garbage game" out of their system. The Browns D is legit, but man that was not a good game for the 49ers. Some iffy calls on that last drive for the Browns, but the 49ers didn't deserve to win anyways.

Eagles sign WR Julio Jones. Great signing if it’s still 2016.
