Ravens released RB Kenyan Drake while the Rams added RB Myles Gaskin from the Vikings PS while signing Darrell Henderson & promoting Royce Freeman to the active roster. Giants signed OT Tyre Phillips off the Eagles PS.
Colts starting DT Grover Stewart was suspended 6 games for violating the PED policy.
Eagles signed WR Julio Jones to a 1 year contract. Packers signed RB James Robinson.
Cardinals plan to cut 2022 3rd Round DE/OLB Myjai Sanders.
Ryan Tannehill was diagnosed with a high ankle sprain but won't require surgery.
Oddly excited for Packers/Denver as Tom Grossi and Brandon Perna will be sharing a stream during it, doing their best to turn this trash game into vintage Heenan/Monsoon hijynx. Probably going to have an entire TV dedicated to them and the other on the game.
Connor McDermott is signing with the New England Patriots. Are you happy to have a competent RT again (even if he only started 6 games last year) @Piss Jug Connor? I've also heard rumblings that Mac may be going back on the trade block with the trade deadline coming up. I'd say the over/under on what he could fetch is a 5th Round pick.
I’ll believe it when it happens Even if/when the Pats start the season 1-7 or 1-8 or 1-10, I still think they will let Bill finish out the season.
However, if this were any other coach, and their team was 25-30 since the pandemic, firing them mid season with a 1-5 start would definitely be on the table. But I mean there are 6 reasons I can think of why they wouldn’t do that with me and @HarleyQuinn ’s guy.
What good what it do to fire Belichick during the season anyway? Nobody on the staff should be a head coach and they're all his acolytes anyway so what would change?
Not only is Belichick’s job in question but Jerrod Mayo’s status as his heir apparent is too. If the team finishes 4-13 or worse, how can you justify promoting anybody on that staff? If/when the Patriots fire Belichick, they need to start with a clean slate IMO.
Also dumdum Kamala here but I didn’t even realize Mayo hadn’t been promoted to defensive coordinator. He is still just the inside linebackers coach. How is he the next in line? Idk what the NFL coach line of succession is anymore!
Over a 34-year career that spanned 5 Super Bowl championships, 10 AFC Conference Crows, 6 head coaches, and 4 different ownership groups, Dante Scarnecchia proved to be a foundational figure for the New England Patriots
With a mix of ferocity on defense and finesse on offense, Mike Vrabel established himself as one of the most versatile and dependable Patriots of all time, earning him a rightful place in the team’s Hall of Fame.
Man how does this happen for 21 fucking years. Sickened and despondent over this shit. There's been low point and then the lowest points, this one and last year against the Rams when I was sitting there in the stadium, you can't hit worse lows than this. It would be easier if you knew the team was losing for something. Our offense hasn't even scored 20 points in a game this season.
