Page Fault in a Non Page Area aka Fuck my life?

So my computer seems to be fucked. When I start windows it gives me the Page Fault in a Non Page area message.

All I can do is start it in SAFE mode, which I am in right now.

Is this a memory-related error?

WTF is going on? Can this be fixed?

It's been a good run, 'puter. ???

From what I have gathered from google, this is an indication of either corrupted memory, or the memory sticks themselves have just gone bad. So Umm....I guess I can just replace the memory and it should fix everything right? Can anyone vouch for this? I've needed to upgrade my mere 1b of Ram for a long time now but never got around to it. This could be the excuse to do it TODAY!

If you've got another computer kicking about, borrow a stick of memory from it and place it in. If it works, then yes, you'll just need to buy some new memory. Though since I'm in a household with a shitload of computers, I can easily do that.

There are programs that can check your memory for you. I'll see if I can find one.
