I saw GNR two weeks ago in Bethlehem, PA. I know that they've played "Civil War" at pretty much every show they done for the last two years or so, and so I was hoping/expecting they would play it at that show, since I had never heard it live. They did not play it.

I found the Civil War single on tape years ago at a flea market. I listened to it at least 10 times a day for a few months at that time. I still rock it every once in a while. Such an awesome song and one of their more underrated tracks. That riff alone is worth rocking the song.

I was really disappointed with Muse's stuff. I got their discography because I was so impressed with Knights of Cydonia and Uprising....but those were the only two tracks of the lot which I liked. Still, it didn't sully either of the two aforementioned songs. I defy anyone not to floor their gas pedal at 4:13.


And 4:16 here routinely wows me. Holy cow.
