1/16/26
Limitless Wrestling - Limitless Rumble
MJF vs. Alec Price - ***3/4
Dezmond Cole vs. Donovan Dijak - ***1/2
Limitless Rumble - ***

1/29/26
MLW - Battle Riot VIII
KUSHIDA vs. Templario - ***1/2
Battle Riot - ***3/4

I don't usually care much for Rumble-style matches, but between these two? Hot damn.

The Battle Riot has been a gigantic clusterfuck, more often than not, but this year's was just very, very good. The pacing was great, there was only a brief bit of a dead zone early on, and it was great how the Contra stuff played out.

Mark Davis is low key my MVP of the month. Didn't win much, but had some really good matches. TK often has guys lose a lot before giving them a push (Swerve lost quite a bit early on), so I wonder if he has something cooking with my man the Dunkzilla. Just stay healthy. El Clon has also been under the radar and very impressive.

The usual suspects of the year so far (Swerve, Kenny, Andrade, Mox, Takeshita, Hangman, Fletcher, Ciampa, etc) are still delivering fantastic matches on a weekly basis.

Davis is good. They're in such a great place for depth right now. Like i don't see Davis being a top guy in a lot of ways but they're in a place where they can have more of a lower upper card instead of a midcard and can slide people anywhere they want without it looking out of place.

Davis just needs to sink his shots in a little tighter. He's doing a solid job at Hansen cosplaying, something I will always admire about hosses, but he's a little too soft with those hands. I do think he has one of the best instances of the "fighting spirit" retaliatory strikes going right now, though, with how well-timed his gamengiri has been over the last few weeks.

There's also the small thing about how his right hand has been noticeably taped heavier ever since the match with Hangman where he punched the ring post by accident. It was a planned spot and he's selling it long-term.
