He provided me and my friends with a lot of great childhood memories. Hope he is free from suffering.

Smash Mouth were a very acceptable band who knew their limits. Walkin' On the Sun and All-Star will always be jams. Sucks he lost his only kid so soon after his birth and was dealing with a ton of health problems. RIP.

My friend's band opened up for Smash Mouth at the Maine Lobster Festival like 10-11 years ago. He was actually a huge fan of Fush Yu Mang and Astro Lounge 2000. They must have not interacted cause I feel like he would have given me any Harwell stories, good, bad or indifferent, he had.

Noodles from The Offspring said he liked his guitar tone when he opened up for them at Hampton Beach Casino Ballroom so he'll always have that.
