First of a series. I'll post some of my favorites from a particular year. I made these playlists on Spotify but I'm not sure who does or doesn't have that app so I just posted Youtube links instead. I like the idea and spirit of making music lists in groups of 40 so that's how many most of these will have. The track's release date may not match the year exactly but I didn't want 7 Born in the U.S.A. singles out of the 40 slots for 1984, so I busted them up, using the Billboard chart peaks as a guide (if I could even find them). This also better matches the time period in which this song or video received the most airplay.
First up; 1985. Not sure why I decided on that year but I was gonna do 1984 but I'm not finished with that so I just went to the next year chronologically, which I do have completed.
